I finished the series set between Episodes 4 and 5, this is set between Episodes 3 and 4, and this one story is better than all of the others combined. I haven’t read Legends, but of the stories I’ve read, this has been the best so far. Vader unleashed. Anakin returns. A trip to the Spirit World of The Force. Highly recommended.M.

Gives one a better understanding of Vader's inner mind. I can't stop reading on his rise and weaknesses. Keep them comming

Charles Soule’s “Darth Vader” series goes out with a bang. Although perhaps not quite the strongest arc that Soule and Camuncoli, either in terms of story or art, these final 7 issues represent a fine sendoff not only to this chapter of Vader’s formidable legacy, but also for Soule and Camuncoli, who – over the curse of the last 25 issues – have managed a not-unimpresive feat: actually managing to find a way to make Vader legitimately menacing again. Whoulda thunk, after 40+ years of films and who-knows-how-many canon and non-canon novel/comic/videogame appearances, that’d be possible?

The art is enjoyable. The story line is good, it's mostly driving Vader's backstory but it moves at a well-written and developed pace. There are some impressive sequences in towards the end, the storytelling element of these is similar to what was seen in issue one and still to good effect. This series comes highly recommended, especially to fans of the TV Clone Wars series who will be pleased to see it closes a few loose ends left behind before the upcoming reboot.

Great backstory to Vader, wonderfully told.

This is a great reference book as well as information provider in regard to inflammation. Most of us experience pain, but have no idea that we can reduce it naturally as opposed to pain medication. The choice of foods is a big factor. Check it for yourself.

Astonishingly, there is not one mention of autoimmune diseases in this book. Nothing about multiple sclerosis, even though the damage to one's central nervous system is caused by inflammation. Nothing about rheumatoid arthritis, or psoriasis or any other autoimmune disease involving inflammation. Weird, huh? I thought so.

Good information presented in a succinct way. I got a greater understanding how inflammation works and the causes. A better understanding of the pitfalls of the Allopathic approach! I heard the author on Red Ice Radio at the time that I needed to hear it.

Great source of information that isn't hard to follow. There is a lot of solutions given to a problem that you can find in this book, it is explained what is the cause and how your body reacts to the problem. Then after finding out what you should be doing and just allow time for your body to adjust to the vitamins or what is suggested that you need and, the sense of knowing that this information has helped you feel better. A lot of the items that you find in the book can be found in vitamin store and even supermarkets.

I have used natural remedies for years and have found the results amazing. No side effects -- ever! In this book for a specific issue, I found answers to questions -- with very straightforward explanations. In fact, I have put some of the suggestions into practice and could not have been more pleased. I got my money's worth -- and then some. My thanks to Christopher Vasey.

Once in a while I'll read a book by a deep thinker, futurist or whatever. And occasionally, I see right away how/why this person is in the position they're in. I've read a couple of Seth Godin's books and come away thinking this guy really has a lot unique and clear insights; things that would not be obvious to the average person. So, while I believe there is more to life than marketing (even if you include marketing yourself) I can see why people buy Godin's books and hear him speak. Kawasaki is another matter. Enchantment, it turns out, is the realization that people will be loyal to, and pay a premium for products that not only work but are fun to use. And, if you're the purveyor of this product or service, it pays to be likable, interested in others and so on. If this strikes you as obvious, that's fine. What scares me is the thought that there are people who don't already know this.Obvious as this stuff is, he doesn't always take his own advice. He rightly suggests not to hit people over the head with big words but he's not content with being a promoter or pitch man. He has to be an evangelist. Is he on a mission from god? If you're sufficiently enchanted you might think so.

I'm left asking "but, how?" Guy gave few tangible examples of enchantment, most of the book is explaining what enchantment is...not specifics on how to do it if it doesn't come to you naturally. Worth a read but could be much better...I expected more.

Kawasaki's overall idea, "there is a higher form of persuasion, enchantment" is pretty sound. He lays out pretty clearly his idea and how to achieve it. Also, the book reads REALLY fast because it's mostly lists and stories.Despite the VERY obviousl organization and clarity of thought in the book (which is commendable in and of itself), I was disappointed because he so heavily references the works of others (this can also be a positive). He liberally summarizes other top management books (like Cialdini's "Influence"), in supporting his arguments. In a way, this is good becuase it makes you feel like you don't have to read the other books. The problem I have with it is that he uses the other texts/summaries as support for his argument but doesn't add his own insight. If he spends half the chapter talking about other people's work, he doesn't spend the next half advancing his argument, he let's the other texts do the heavy lifting.My other major problem with the book is how bite-sized everything is. Kawasaki gives you lists and lists and lists of how to do certain things, which are valuable, but are overwhelming compared to the amount of prose in the book.Overall, a good overall view of some of the major popular business/social psychology books out there AND a very quick read, but lacking some of the killer insight I personally was expecting from such a highly rated book.

This will be a short review, for I am a man of few words.I'm in sales as a territory manager in the Carolinas for a manufacturer in the natural products industry. From reading this book, I was able to glean principles to apply in my day to day business with accounts; even though I think this book is geared more toward entrepreneurs.I read a review where someone said this book was too simple. Exactly! I think the book was suppose to be simple. Just as doing business with anyone today should be made simple. This is one of the points I take from 'Enchantment', how to simplify business with the accounts and consumers I come into contact with.The "How To Achieve Likeability" and "How To Achieve Trustworthiness" are two factors that play a big role in what I do in sales. So the bottom line for me here is, it's about building and maintaining the relationship. This makes doing business easier in the long run.The company I work for gives their territory managers multi-paged pitch books to use in selling promotions to accounts. I dislike using them. Too many pages. Guy's 10-20-30 rule is what I now follow. I tweak my Keynote presentations to make them short and sweet. All the other information from the pitch-books I learn and can relay without a slide.

It's not difficult to make a web comic/art account about BDSM successful. What is impressive, is making it into a fully fledged comic picked up by one of the top publishers.Sunstone follows two women, Ally and Lisa, looking to satisfy a kink they haven't been able to scratch for far too long. As it stands now, both characters are well-developed and as relatable as you can get if you aren't into BDSM. The only flaw this series has it wasn't very long, and only three days have passed so far. But I forsee good things for this series.

A lot of great reviews have already been written on this work so I'll keep this short and point out my impressions as a non-BDSM lesbian who has triggers around exploitive porn.First off, is it exploitive? No.Does a male author/illustrator somehow adversely impact the depiction of a f/f relationship? No.Is this in the fantasy genre (i.e. vampires, demons, unicorns, dragons)? No. The cover looks like it may be but this is a contemporary romance in our everyday world.Is BDSM well represented? I think so...At least I thought it did a good job of normalizing the desires from both the domme and sub perspectives, where the kink aspect of their sexuality was innate in both characters from early on in their lives. It didn't seem fetishized or anything.Are the characters lesbian? No. It seems both characters are heterosexual and this is their first time with another woman...so, I guess, ultimately bisexual. If you've read 'Owning Regina' by Lorelei Elstrom it has a similar take where the kink (and good partner match) takes precedence as a sexual orientation in itself over the actual gender/sex of the partner.Does the lack of woman on woman experience or bisexuality make the f/f aspect any less sincere? No.Is there nudity? Yes.Is it erotic? For some maybe.Is this a romance? Yes. It actually ends up being a fluffy and sweet romance between Ally and Lisa.Are the characters good? Yep. Despite this seeming to be only about BDSM, the author spent time showing these characters in their friendship (the non-BDSM aspect) vs them in their BDSM play and also independent of each other in their own lives. Ally, though the domme, is a rather geeky gamer type person while Lisa, the sub, actually shows some dominance outside of the BDSM.Overall, with this read, we get gorgeous artwork and a sweet romance with a nice dose of humor that also happens to have graphic depictions of Lisa and Ally's sexual relationship.Recommend? Yes.

The narration is personal and engaging, the flow of the plot and the various focus on every character that makes EVERY ONE OF THEM feel like genuine, full on protagonists in their own rights, and the actual, FACTUAL descriptions and depictions of BDSM in the bedroom, the community, and inter-personal relationships overrides the smear of misleading, garbled smut of Fifty Shades of Gray at LEAST a hundred times over.Stjepan Sejic is one of the most exceptional artists in the comic industry today, and his talent as an artist is only matched by his talent as a storyteller. Despite coming from material created as little more than drawing exercises and costume designs, the characters, story and world all came together in a rush of imagination that he couldn't hold back, and that numerous fans including myself clamored at him to push further into a fully realized story. And he does not disappoint.If you read Fifty Shades of Gray, or saw the movie, or even just have been immersed in the pop culture aftershocks of it, READ THIS COMIC. It will not only clear up every single misconception and mistake made by it in terms of the reality of BDSM, but it will make it look like a child's rushed English assignment compared to Tolkien or JK Rowling. The art alone is enough to make it exceptional, but the story and characters are some of the best in any form of modern fiction today. READ THIS COMIC. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
