Don't let other reviewers who got their butt hurt on a forum persuade you from this book. It is a very practical guide to Shamanism with the Daemonic. I have trained under Michael Harner's Foundation of Shamanic Studies for a few years now (classes I highly recomend). However, they do not touch on the Daemonic. This is a nice common sense approach. Definitely for the beginner but still a very good piece.
A good book for people who like Shamanism, but are into Demonolatry or darker arts. I think the only thing that this book would benefit from is a drumming track with it. But CD's are kind of out of date these days.
The book came in thinner than I was expecting. It really is a quick read, but that doesn't stop it from going over a lot of the basics of astral travel and ritual work. If you're new to astral projection, or you're looking for something that works as a quick guidebook for different applications of it, this could be a fantastic place to start.I was disappointed that it was so closely tied to OFS Daemonolatry, but it doesn't make the book unusable to other types of demonolatry and there is some effort on the author's part to make their system open-ended.
This is something that is very new to the current market. A very very good synopsis of dark shamanism.
Mr. Briar does a wonderful job of introducing Daemonic Shamanism and ways to explore and expand one’s practices. I’ve found this very helpful in my own practice and evolution.
A good book for those wanting to learn about Shamanism from a Daemonolotry point of view.
I enjoyed his adaptations of the meditations and visualizations. He explains things that may be confusing for beginner's. Because I have been very ill for couple of years now and having limited mobility, the cleansing and elemental balancing exercises are helping me the most.
An interesting take and a useful reference.
