I was so tired of pills, strict dieting and years after years of fad dieting. I couldn't keep focused long enough to make them work! I needed something nutritious and delicious. Something that's explaining what it does for you. Something that actually works without putting some foreign miracle pill in my body. Something that is natural and no chemicals.My blood pressure was off the charts. With my weight and stress in my life. But it did not stop me from eating junk or curb my cravings. But at last something is working for me.I'm losing weight. I'm learning how to play with the recipes with given ingredients. My daughter s now call me a hippie! Which is hilarious if you knew me. I hope it works for you to. Nutritious and delicious!!

I didn't make any of the recipes from this book. Most of them require a complicated list of ingredients that in many cases just don't go together. Also, there are some obvious errors/missing information within the recipes. For example, one recipe titled " Clementine Grapefruit Smoothie" calls for "one carton of"..... but doesn't list what ingredient the carton is. My opinion is that this book needs more variety and a lot of editing.

the use of many types of greens and fruit make wonderful smoothies. I like the addition chapter which tells you what you can safely add to perk up the flavor or add something like oatmeal to keep you full the entire morning. The addition of hemp or chia seeds add more micronutrients. Would recommend for a fast intro to some great weight-loss smoothies.

I have been using my blender for smoothies for a few months now and wanted to get some actual recipes and of course weight loss caught my eye. Lots of good info here and some great recipe ideas I'll use, mix and use as a base for experimenting with. So for that it gets a high score. Also has some good info on Chia seeds, Hemp seeds and Maca, all things I was curious about.

Firstly I would like to state that the cover looks amazingly delicious , wow!!!! I hate eating vegetables at times and this book has given me great ideas to implement them in a way that still tastes great and is healthy as well with an added bonus that I can lose the unnecessary weight . The recipes in this book were easy to follow and it seems like the smoothies would be delicious. I highly recommend!!!

Well written and easy to read. Very informative, lots of good info and recipes. Great advice on which greens NOT to use in a smoothie. All the recipes are very easy and simple to make. I can't eat bananas and there are several recipes without bananas, which is a huge plus for me. Looking forward to trying some of these out on my new blender!

The many recipes and health notes included are a fantastic find!! They have good flavors and ingredients are easy to find in stores.

Delicious smoothies that are so easy to make you can make them anytime of the day. I never realized that healthy smoothies that promoted weight loss could be so fabulous.
